Special Adviser to the Kano State Governor on Justice and Constitutional Matters, Barr. Aminu Hussain has called on newly recruited state counsel to make an immediate impact and uphold the highest standards of professionalism.
The charge was given at the closing ceremony of a 3-day induction training for 70 new state counsel, held at the Kano Institute of Anti-Corruption, Goron Dutse. Barr. Hussain congratulated the new counsel on their appointment and active participation in the induction process.
The Special Adviser noted that the large number of new recruits reflects the state administration’s commitment to valuing the justice system as the pillar of law and order in society. This, he said, is a testament to the auspicious time in which they have joined the ministry.
According to Barr. Hussain, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, firmly believes in the intrinsic value and impact of the justice system on all developmental outcomes. These include economic growth, poverty reduction, peace, conflict resolution, and building trust in governance institutions.
The Special Adviser emphasised the Governor’s vision is to make the Kano State justice system the envy of Nigeria. To achieve this, the new state counsel has been equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to make an immediate impact on the ministry.

He commended the Hon. Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Barr. Haruna Isa Dederi and his team for their competence, in achieving this success.

With the right mindset and expertise, the new council is poised to make a positive impact and contribute to the state’s developmental goals. As no excuses or failure will be condoled.
