Kano State Government has distributed 600 bags of 25 kg of rice to the State Judiciary and various Federal courts in Kano, LOAN, NBA Kano and Ungogo Branches at Gidan Hatsi in Muganda Road at the State metropolis as part of its Ramadan gesture. This donation, worth millions of Naira, is part of the government’s efforts to support the State judiciary and other stakeholders.
The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Haruna Isah Dederi made the presentation on behalf of the state government. He emphasized that the gesture is a token of appreciation for the stakeholders’ dedication to their duties. “We recognize the important work that you do, and we want to show our appreciation for your tireless efforts,” he said.
Barr. Dederi was represented at the occasion by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Justice and Constitutional matters, Barr. Aminu Hussain noted that the gesture is expected to support the stakeholders during the holy month of Ramadan.
Barr. Hussain also highlighted the importance of compassion, empathy, and kindness in creating a more just and equitable society, stating that the government initiative is a reminder of these values.
Speaking on behalf of the State Judiciary, the Director Admin of Kano State Sharia Court of Appeal Malam Nura Muhammad expressed gratitude and appreciation to the state government for its support
The government has a history of providing support during Ramadan, and this year’s gesture is expected to benefit thousands of residents across the state. Millions of people are also expected to benefit from daily Ramadan feeding throughout the month.
