…From silence to sound, Kano’s airwaves revitalized as Dr Danbatta takes charge.

In a bid to restore the glory of Pyramid FM, Kano from silence to sound, the newly reappointed General Manager, Dr. Garba Ubale Dambatta has vowed to revamp and resuscitate the station.
Dr. Danbatta, who was reappointed to lead the station, made this known during his maiden meeting with staff and management.
According to him, “We must do all possible to resuscitate the main station, located along Yako Road, Madobi and get it operational soon.”
He emphasized the need for diligence and teamwork among staff, warning that lackadaisical attitudes would no longer be tolerated.
Garba Ubale Danbatta, A Doctor of Philosophy in Current Affairs & Policy Analysis promised to work closely with stakeholders to build a brighter future for the younger generation and ensure a conducive working atmosphere for all.
The new GM’s commitment has been welcomed by staff, who describe him as a man of the people, simple, and easygoing. Earlier in his remark Head of Admin, on behalf of the staff assured him of full support for his initiatives. Notably, Dr. Danbatta promised to bring back all the station’s retiring staff and collaborate with them.
Consequently, The General Manager has hit the ground running, holding sequential departmental meetings to chart a new course to reposition Pyramid FM for greater heights and meets the lost glory of reaching wider coverage and mammoth audience across northern Nigeria.
Furthermore, Dr. Garba Danbatta hinted at plans to remodel the station with cutting-edge digital technology, ensuring that Pyramid FM stays ahead of the curve in broadcasting. “We will leverage the latest tools and software to enhance our programming, improve sound quality, and expand our online presence,” he said.
Yakubu Musa Fagge one of the founding staff described that, the move is expected to not only boost the station’s ratings but also increase its relevance in the digital age, poised to become a leading voice in the region’s media landscape.
Pyramid FM is a station he have previously led with distinction and successfully managed.
