The Kano State Government has received with deep shock and profound sadness, the news of the death of Malam Kabiru Ibrahim, Babban Malami na Madabo, a respected and distinguished Islamic scholar whose lifetime dedication to the propagation of Islam and moral guidance, has positively impacted on countless lives across the state and beyond.
The Kano State Government under the able leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, sympathizes with the family of the late Malam Kabiru Ibrahim, who was described as a beacon of knowledge, humility and peace, and whose teachings and mentorship greatly contributed to the moral and spiritual development of the society.
The late Malam Kabiru Ibrahim was not only a teacher of Islamic knowledge but also a moral compass for the younger generation and had always advocated for peace, discipline, and respect for human values. His demise has certainly created a great vacuum in the community of learning and teaching of Islamic knowledge, not only in Madabo quarters but also across the entire state and beyond
The State Government extends its heartfelt condolences to the deceased’s immediate family, students, associates, and the entire Muslim Ummah, praying to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, reward his good deeds, and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.
The Government and the good people of Kano share in this painful loss, which is not only to the family of the deceased but to the entire state, given his invaluable contributions to Islamic scholarship and community development.
The State under the stewardship of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, therefore urges the people, especially the young generation to emulate the virtues of the late scholar, particularly his piety, simplicity, and commitment to the service of humanity.
