Kano State House of Assembly presided over by Speaker Jibrin Falgore has screened and confirmed Ambassador Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya and Seven others as Commissioner Nominees after thorough screening.
It could be recalled that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has sent a letter to the house asking them to screen and confirmed the nominees.

Former Governor’s Chief of staff Alh. Shehu Wada Sagagi, Alh. Abdulkadir Abdulsalam (AG), Ambassador Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, Dr. Isma’il Danmaraya, Dr Ghaddafi Sani Shehu and Dr. Dahir M. Hashim
The Housa invited the nominees for screening on Tuesday, but before commencing the exercise, the speaker read a letter from the state government nominating another commissioner in person of comrade Nura Iro Ma’aji.
The house then commenced the screening of all the seven nominees and subsequently confirmed all of them as commissioners designate.
