The Heads of Kano State Government Agencies, led by Alhaji Tukur Wada Sagagi, have called on the National Leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Engr. Dr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, to lead them and the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The call was made after the deliberation by the members of the forum, considering the current political situation in state. The group said the move will help protect the state’s political future and keep its leaders united.
About 70 heads of agencies—including Managing Directors, Executive Secretaries, and Director-Generals attended the meeting held in the state.
Speaking at the meeting, Alhaji Tukur Wada Sagagi said:
“We are calling on our leader, Engr. Dr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, to kindly lead us and our governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, into the APC. We believe this is the best step for the good of our state.”
The group also said they are fully ready to join the APC, adding that they will work together to strengthen the party and promote peace and development in Kano State.
