As part of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s commitment to achieving the healthcare component of the Kano First Agenda, the Kano State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KSCHMA), under the leadership of Dr. Rahila Mukhtar, has intensified statewide monitoring and sensitisation visits to healthcare facilities.
During a recent visit to Darma Primary Health Centre, Chedi Ward, Dr. Rahila engaged healthcare workers, enrollees, facility managers and community stakeholders to assess service delivery and gather firsthand feedback.
The monitoring focused on patient satisfaction, availability of essential medicines and commodities, quality of care, and compliance with KSCHMA operational standards.
The exercise reflects Governor Yusuf’s commitment to ensuring that residents enrolled in government healthcare programmes receive accessible, quality and responsive healthcare services.
Findings from the visit will guide further interventions to strengthen accountability, improve service quality and enhance the experience of KSCHMA enrollees across Kano State.
