RAUDAH TRAVEL & TOUR
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced a multiple-entry Umrah visa valid for 365 days from the date of issuance, allowing eligible holders to enter the Kingdom multiple times, subject to the applicable regulations.
According to the announcement issued on 20 July 2026, holders of the visa may enter Saudi Arabia multiple times during its validity period, but their total permitted stay must not exceed 90 days.
The development is intended to provide greater flexibility for eligible visitors planning their journeys to the Kingdom.
KEY CONDITIONS OF THE NEW VISA
According to the official announcement, the visa is valid for 365 days. However, this does not mean that its holder can stay in Saudi Arabia for an entire year. The total permitted stay is limited to 90 days.
Visa holders are required to obtain a service package from a provider approved on the Nusuk platform. They must also obtain the required Umrah permit through the Nusuk application before arrival and comply with other applicable entry requirements.
The announcement further states that the visa cannot be activated for entry during the Hajj period, from 1 Dhul-Qa’dah to 13 Dhul-Hijjah.
RAUDAH CHAIRMAN URGES TRAVELLERS TO UNDERSTAND VISA CONDITIONS
Speaking to Alfijir Labarai, the Chairman of Raudah Travels & Tours Ltd., Alhaji Umar Abdulhadi Al-Futi, stressed the importance of understanding visa conditions and checking travel documents before departing for Saudi Arabia.
He said some travellers fail to pay attention to the conditions attached to their visas, a situation that could create difficulties when they arrive in the Kingdom.
The chairman also explained that possessing a visa does not automatically guarantee entry into Saudi Arabia, as travellers must meet the other requirements established by the relevant authorities.
He advised intending pilgrims to confirm the type of visa issued to them, understand its conditions and plan their journeys accordingly.
A TRAVELLER’S EXPERIENCE AT JEDDAH
During the interview, the chairman recounted a case involving a passenger who, according to him, was denied entry after arriving in Jeddah. He said efforts were subsequently made to obtain another visa for the passenger before the journey could continue.
The account highlights the importance of checking travel documents and entry requirements before departure. However, the specific reason the passenger was denied entry was not established in the information provided during the interview.
RAUDAH’S STATEMENT ON NAHCON APPROVAL
During the interview, Alhaji Umar Abdulhadi Al-Futi stated that Raudah Travels & Tours Ltd. is among the companies approved by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
He said the company possesses official documents supporting its operations and added that members of the public could check the company’s details through the commission’s website.
PILGRIM EDUCATION BEFORE DEPARTURE
The chairman emphasised that Hajj and Umrah are acts of worship that require religious knowledge and proper understanding, rather than being treated merely as travel or leisure activities.
He explained that the company has arrangements for providing Islamic scholars to guide groups of pilgrims to the Holy Land, helping them understand and perform the rites of worship in accordance with Islamic teachings.
Raudah Travels & Tours Ltd. has also announced a documentary-based Umrah awareness programme in both Hausa and English.
According to the company, the programme explains key stages of Umrah, including Ihram, Tawaf, Sa’i and other essential practices associated with the pilgrimage.
Providing the material in two languages is intended to make the information accessible to pilgrims from different linguistic backgrounds and help them prepare for their spiritual journey.
IMPORTANT ADVICE FOR INTENDING PILGRIMS
To reduce the risk of travel difficulties, intending pilgrims should:
– Confirm the type of visa issued to them and carefully read its conditions.
– Check the visa’s validity period and applicable entry conditions.
– Ensure that their travel documents and required Umrah permits are in order.
– Seek clarification from their travel provider or the relevant authorities whenever they do not understand a visa requirement.
– Obtain adequate knowledge of the Umrah rites before departure and seek guidance from qualified Islamic scholars.
CONCLUSION
Saudi Arabia’s multiple-entry Umrah visa offers eligible travellers the opportunity to enter the Kingdom multiple times within a 365-day validity period, subject to a total permitted stay of no more than 90 days and compliance with other applicable requirements.
In his interview with Alfijir Labarai, the chairman of Raudah Travels & Tours Ltd. emphasised the importance of understanding visa conditions, planning travel properly and acquiring the necessary religious knowledge before embarking on Umrah.
The central message for intending pilgrims is that obtaining a visa is only one part of the preparation process. Understanding its conditions, meeting entry requirements and preparing adequately for the religious rites are also essential.
Alfijir Labarai advises intending pilgrims to rely on official information, review their travel documents carefully and seek clarification from the appropriate authorities and RAUDAH to providers before departure.
