As part of its continued efforts to promote environmental sanitation across the state, the Refuse Management and Sanitation Board (REMASAB) has carried out a major waste evacuation exercise in Sheka Yar Kasuwa and Zage communities within Kumbosto and Kano Municipal Local Government Areas.
Under the leadership of the Managing Director, Dr. Muhammad S. Khalil, REMASAB has intensified its waste collection operations in neighborhoods and along major roads across the state.
Dr. Khalil emphasized that the exercise aligns with the vision of the Executive Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, to ensure a cleaner and healthier environment for all citizens of the state.
Since assuming office, Dr. Khalil noted that REMASAB has been working tirelessly day and night to ensure timely and efficient waste evacuation across all parts of Kano.
He called on the public to support the Board’s efforts by maintaining clean surroundings and actively participating in ongoing sanitation initiatives.
