The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Kano State Chapter, congratulates the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kano Correspondents Chapel, on the successful refurbishment of its office under the leadership of comrade Murtala Adewale.
The association describes the refurbishment as a commendable development that will provide a more conducive and comfortable environment for members to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
The commissioning ceremony, held at the Kano Press Centre, NUJ Secretariat, was chaired by former Kano State Commissioner for Information and former NUJ National President, Comrade Muhammad Garba, and attended by journalists, media stakeholders and other dignitaries.
Speaking at the occasion, Garba and other distinguished guests, including Prof. Sule Ya’u Sule, Malam Habibu Kila, Hajiya Aishatu Sule and Abdullateef Abubakar Jos, Ceo Solabase praised the leadership of the chapel for the initiative.
NAWOJ Kano wishes the Correspondents Chapel continued success and expresses its readiness to support initiatives that promote the welfare and professional development of journalists in Kano State.
