The Kano State Government is set to host the 45th Federation of Public Service Games (FEPSGA), scheduled to take place from 6th to 16th October 2026.
The Federation of Public Service Games is designed to promote physical fitness, healthy competition, discipline, teamwork and friendship among public servants, while encouraging a healthy and productive workforce.
The games also provide an opportunity for public servants from different Ministries, Departments and Agencies to interact, build professional relationships and strengthen the spirit of unity and cooperation beyond their official responsibilities.
Hosting the event in Kano further provides an opportunity for the State to showcase its hospitality, cultural heritage and capacity to host major national public-service programmes.
The games are expected to bring together public servants from various Federal Government institutions and other participating organisations for sporting activities in an atmosphere of friendship, sportsmanship and healthy competition.
The Office of the Head of Civil Service therefore calls on public servants, relevant institutions, the media and the general public to support the successful hosting of the games and promote the values of fitness, discipline, teamwork, friendship and excellence that FEPSGA represents.
The Directorate of Public Enlightenment will continue to provide the public with verified information and updates on the games before and throughout the event.
