The Executive Governor of Kano State, Alh. Abba Kabir Yusuf, demonstrated his deep commitment to religious and community engagements by embarking on an overnight tour of various Maulud gatherings across Kano.
The Governor departed the Kano State Government House at about 10:00pm yesterday and continued visiting different religious centres throughout the night, returning to Government House at approximately 7:02am.
During the tour, His Excellency personally attended Maulud celebrations at:
1. Sheikh Sharif Sani Jambulo
2. Gidan Qadiriyya
3. Sheikh Maihula
4. Sheikh Aliyu Harazimi
5. Sheikh Malam Kamaluddeen Adamu Nama’aji Alfindiki
6. Sheikh Atiku Sanka
7. Sheikh Mudi Salga
8. Sheikh Tiljani Yan Mota
The Governor was accompanied by a high-powered entourage comprising the Secretary to the State Government, Commissioners for Religious Affairs, Health, Works, Power, Local Government, Special Advisers on Religious Affairs I, Political Matters and Inter-Party Affairs, as well as Hon. Bala Muhammad Gwagwarwa.
DEPUTY GOVERNOR’S DELEGATION
In order to ensure wider representation at the numerous Maulud gatherings taking place across the state, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf also delegated the Kano State Deputy Governor, Alh. Murtala Sule Garo, alongside other government officials, to attend Maulud celebrations hosted by:

Similarly, His Excellency delegated the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, alongside other government officials, to represent him at Maulud celebrations held at:
