The Proprietor of the First Only female University in Nigeria the Tazkiyah University, Zaria has announced the award of scholarship to female orphans.
The scholarship covers Registration and Hostel fees. The list of the beneficiaries included Nigerians from different places. The scholarship awardees also cut across religious and cultural biases.
Reacting on the scholarship a former Dean, Faculty of Arts, Bayero University, Kano Professor Ibrahim Garba Satatima lauded this unique nationalistic gesture.
He compared it with the similar opportunities given by the late renowned Legal luminary Gani Fawehinmi. He also prayed for the successful take up of the University.
