President Bola Ahmad Tinubu has approved the appointment of APC gubernatorial candidate Alhaji Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna as Chairman of the Governing Council of Bayero University Kano.
This was contained in a compendium of newly reconstituted governing councils of federal universities by President Tinubu.
Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna contested the 2023 gubernatorial election in Kano under the platform of the All Progressives Congress and lost to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
