…Appreciation Letter to His Excellency Gov Abba Kabir Yusuf For Appointing Binta Bala PhD as Pioneer Director.
The Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba K. Yusuf, has received widespread acclaim from the Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) community for his groundbreaking initiative in establishing the Department of Persons with Disabilities under the Ministry of Women, Children, and PWDs.
In a heartfelt letter of appreciation, Engr. Abdul Haruna, a concerned disability advocate, commended Gov. Yusuf for his visionary step, which promises to elevate the well-being and rights of individuals with disabilities.
“This momentous achievement is a clear testament to His Excellency’s commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind in the development and progress of our beloved state.” Said Haruna
Engineer Haruna Reiterated that the creation of this department is a major milestone for the PWD community, as it underscores the government’s dedication to inclusivity and promises to empower PWDs, enhance their participation in society, and provide them with opportunities they deserve.
According Him, Dr. Binta Bala, PhD, appointed as the Director of the newly established Department of PWDs. Her appointment reflects a deep understanding of the challenges faced by persons with disabilities and signals a strong commitment to ensuring that the department is led by someone with lived experience, passion, and expertise.
It could be recalled that the Kano State Government’s collaboration with the PWDs department under her leadership will be instrumental in creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for PWDs.
Earlier in her remark, Binta Bala PhD opined that, the appointment will go along way in uniting PWDs in one umbrella. She Expressed delight and commit to making positive impact to the society.
According to communique, The establishment of the Department of PWDs is a significant step towards creating a more inclusive society, and the PWDs community looks forward to witnessing the positive impact of this initiative.
