Kano Gov Procures Vehicles for Anti-Illicit Drugs and Phone Snatching Task Force

In a renewed effort to tackle street crimes and drug abuse in the state, the Kano State Government, under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, has procured operational vehicles for the state’s Anti-Illicit Drugs and Phone Snatching Task Force.

The vehicles are expected to enhance the mobility and response time of the task force, which has been at the forefront of curbing the growing menace of illicit drug consumption and street-level phone thefts that have plagued urban centres across the state.

Governor Yusuf, who has consistently prioritized youth protection and community safety, said the initiative is part of a broader security and social intervention plan aimed at creating a safer Kano.
