Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has congratulated the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
This was contained in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesman, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Tuesday.
Governor Yusuf described Vice President Shettima as a seasoned politician, accomplished administrator and visionary leader whose leadership qualities have continued to contribute significantly to the development of Nigeria.
He commended the Vice President’s courage, humility, commitment to public service and ability to provide purposeful leadership, noting that his wealth of experience in governance has remained an asset to the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Governor said Vice President Shettima’s years of service, particularly his tenure as Governor of Borno State, Senator of the Federal Republic and his current role as Vice President, have demonstrated his dedication to improving the lives of Nigerians.
Governor Yusuf also praised the Vice President for his intellectual capacity, patriotism and commitment to strengthening national unity and economic development.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant him good health, wisdom and strength to continue to serve the country. May HE also grant him more years of fruitful service ahead.
