The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy Bayo Onanuga, has led a presidential media delegation to Kano as part of an ongoing nationwide tour to assess key Federal Government projects under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Speaking during the visit, Special adviser to the President on Media and Public Communication Sunday Dare said, the tour is aimed at providing firsthand information on the progress and impact of critical infrastructure and development initiatives being implemented across the country.
In Kano, the team inspected the ongoing solar energy project at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, designed to enhance power supply and improve healthcare service delivery. The delegation also reviewed a newly established cardiovascular facility at the hospital, constructed under the Tinubu administration to strengthen specialized medical services.
Earlier, the team undertook an on-the-spot assessment of the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano highway project, a major transport corridor expected to boost economic activities and ease movement between the Federal Capital Territory and northern Nigeria.
Alfijir News reports that, the delegation was led by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, and included the Senior Special Assistant to the President, Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai, among other officials.
The inspection tour is part of efforts by the Federal Government to showcase ongoing projects and ensure transparency in the implementation of its development agenda.
The team also visited some of kano state government projects especially the Dan Agindi Under pass and Tal’udu flyover.
